Wormington Village Society

Wormington Village Society (WVS) provides amenities and arranges functions for residents within Wormington and surrounding villages. It aims to encourage all generations to engage with each other through a wide range of activities.

 - SUMMER 2026 -

Activities will included:

These sort of events have been tremendously popular over the years.  They have helped people catch-up and enjoy time together.  It has also demonstrated a need to create a facility that can be used all year round, not just during the summer months.  Currently, we use a large marquee which we assemble in the spring and take down in the autumn.  We are in the process of regaining control of the land that we use for the marquee and intend to re-start discussions to determine what sort of permanent facility the village wants.

And the marquee (with tables, chairs, glasses, crockery etc.) is also available to hire for a very reasonable contribution!
